Tiger Woods looks the value in Ryder Cup 'Top American' betting odds
It's not often you can get odds of 11/2 for Tiger Woods in a twelve-runner field, but that's what Stan James are offering for the World No.1 to register the most points for team USA in the Ryder Cup this week.
Admittedly Tiger doesn't boast the best record in this event over previous years, but that was usually at the end of a long-hard season where he'd been mopping up event after event and would have came into this contest with one eye on a deserved winter rest.

Hunter Mahan and Steve Stricker look the biggest dangers to Tiger in this market, with preference for the latter as he could go into the singles on the same points as our selection, but for me it has to be Tiger Woods at a rather attractive 11/2 to lead the American charge in what promises to be some weekend of golf.
