Tennis fans across Britain will be hoping Andy Murray can end a barren spell that goes back to Fred Perry 75 years ago and defeat Novak Djokovic to win the Australian Open Final on Sunday.

Stanislas Wawrinka booked his place in the Australian Open quarter-final after totally outplaying eighth seed Andy Roddick on Sunday.
The 19th seed served up no less than 24 aces on court to wrap up 4th round match 6-3 6-4 6-4 victory and now an all Swiss clash with Roger Federer awaits.

Third seed Novak Djokovic faces Nicolas Almagro in the fourth round and circumstance would appear to have played him an ace. Djokovic was handed a straightforward passage into the fourth round on Friday when Serbian Davis Cup team-mate Viktor Troicki defaulted after one set.
