Former East Ender Kara Tointon with her partner Artem Chigvintsev have been heavily backed in the last few days to win the 2010 BBC Strictly Come Dancing competition. Bookmakers have slashed the couple’s price from 7/2 and the duo are now the favourites at around 11/10 with SkyBet and William Hill. Actors and Actresses from East Enders have  a great record in the competition with Christopher Parker and Matt Dangelo both coming second and Jill Halfpenny going one better by winning the show in 2004. Bookies think it is there’s to lose.

Kara and Artem have two couples to beat, Countryfile and One Show presenter Matt Baker dances with Aliona Vilani and they are next in the Strictly betting at 11/8 with Bet 365 and the outsiders of the couples are Pamela Stephenson who dances with James Jordan.

Pamela is best known for being funny man Billy Connolly’s wife, although she has forged a new career as a Psychologist after being one  quarter of the 1980s sketch show Not The Nine O’clock News.  Pamela however seems to have strong support from the judges especially fellow Aussie Craig Revel Horwood and Head Judge Len Goodman. Pamela and James are the outsiders in the Strictly Come Dancing Betting odds but do offer great value at 6.5 with betting exchange Betfair.

Recommendation: Back Pamela Stephenson, In A Three Dancer Race She Is The Value
