Spurs Second String Strong Enough To See Off PAOK Salonika

Tottenham continue to look incredibly strong on the domestic front and they have also been performing admirably in the Europa League with what has very much been a second string team. Tottenham gained a 0-0 draw in Greece in the away leg of this tie with what was a less experienced team than the one that will take to the field at White Hart Lane tonight so the bookies are taking few chances with the odds available on Harry Redknapp's side.

Roman Pavlyuchenko and Giovani Dos Santos have both been given a chance to impress in this competition so far but both are major doubts for this match with knee and groin injuries respectively. Niko Kranjcar, Danny Rose, Michael Dawson and Tom Huddlestone all remain on the sidelines but there should still be plenty of experience in this side. Jermain Defoe has been in good form from his limited opportunities this season and looks very likely to be given a run out whilst the likes of Carlo Cudicini, Vedran Corluka, Sebastien Bassong, William Gallas and Steven Pienaar are all likely to be given some much needed game time having either been injured or out of favour for the start of the season.

This Tottenham team, on home soil, should be far too strong for PAOK Salonika in a game that Harry Redknapp sees as a must win game with Spurs sitting third in the group, just one point behind the leaders who are tonight's opponents. The odds on a Spurs win aren't exactly generous but they are fair and Spurs could easily win this game by two goals or more with PAOK winning just one of their last seven matches domestically and Spurs should prove to be one of the safest bets of the night.

Recommendation: BACK SPURS TO BEAT PAOK SALONIKA
