Pep Guardiola An Interesting Choice To Be Next Arsenal Manager

Another season without a trophy has gone by for Arsenal and more and more fans are beginning to ask questions about Arsene Wenger, it could be that he leaves Arsenal or is moved upstairs sooner rather than later and speculation has begun about who will replace him at the Emirates Stadium.

It seems likely that in the summer of 2012 Pep Guardiola will leave Barcelona and will probably end up in the Premiership. given that Arsenal have been compared to Barcelona because of their style of play it would be no surprise if Guardiola was to join Arsenal to finish the job that Arsene Wenger has begun with this group of players. Presuming there is money to spend at Arsenal then Guardiola would look a pretty decent bet to be the next Arsenal manager.

If the appointment of a new manager is made domestivally it would appear Bolton boss Owen Coyle will be the highest on the shortlist. Coyle is not short of admirers amongst Premiership chairmen and looks likely to be given one of the top jobs before long. Coyle certainly looks more likely than other British managers such as Harry Redknapp, Martin O'Neill and David Moyes who are all currently 33/1 or below to land the Arsenal job after Wenger leaves.

Two of the most sought after managers in Europe are Guus Hiddink and Jose Mourinho and one of those could end up at Chelsea, the one who looks more suited to Arsenal is Guus Hiddink, he could also be a better bet than Mourinho because the Portuguese manager probably has his eye on Sir Alex Ferguson's job at old Trafford. If Arsenal were to go a bit younger than Hiddink then Didier Deschamps could be an interesting candidate, or even current France boss Laurent Blanc, that pair make more appeal than ex Spurs player Jurgen Klinsmann. An unlikely but interesting candidate in the Next Arsenal Manager Odds is Thierry Henry, he would surely need some experience first though and he could end up a decent bet to replace Pep Guardiola!
