Man Utd Can Beat Otelul Galati By Three Or More Goals

Man Utd take on Otelul Galati on Wednesday night, the only team who Man Utd have beaten in the Champions League since their defeat against Barcelona in the Champions League Final in May. With home advantage Sir Alex Ferguson will be confident that his side can register a comfortable victory here and whilst a win puts them in a strong position as far as qualification is concerned, they will need other results to go their way to top the group this week.

Several Man Utd players had to sit out training earlier in the week and Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed he has several absentees for this match. Tom Cleverley has been ruled out for United with an ankle injury having only just returned from long term injury. Chris Smalling, Ashley Young and Ryan Giggs are amongst those other players who are still missing for Sir Alex Ferguson's side. Rio Ferdinand will start in defence with Nemanja Vidic unavailable through suspension, the Serbian defender was sent off in the first game against Otelul Galati.

Otelul Galati are yet to register a point in the Champions League this season and a 2-0 win in Romania for Man Utd suggests they have a good chance of registering a big scoreline here at Old Trafford. There is little surprise that United have been priced up so short this week, the bookies think they are by far the most likely team to win this week in the competition and to get a decent price on the home side winning you will have to give Otelul Galati a two goal head start. By doing so United become around even money to win the game and that all of a sudden looks a very attractive bet.

Recommendation: BACK MAN UTD -2 TO BEAT OTELUL GALATI
