Fulham Likely To Continue Bad Form Against Twente

Martin Jol should know FC Twente well, the Dutchman will have faced them several times during his time at Ajax and he recently bought Bryan Ruiz off the club so will have done some recent scouting of the team too. He will certainly need good knowledge of Twente to get a result here after what is quite a poor start to the season, Fulham have so far picked up just two points from their four league games and all of those matches have been winnable matches.

Fulham are likely to field a team very similar to that which drew against Blackburn at the weekend but they will be without record signing Bryan Ruiz as he is ineligible for this match. Regular first teamer Bobby Zamora should be joined in attack by Moussa Dembele and Clint Dempsey could line up in midfield alongside Steve Sidwell, Danny Murphy and Damien Duff. In defence Aaron Hughes misses out through injury and is also a doubt for the weekend whilst Philippe Senderos is a slight doubt.

Fulham's form has been better in the Europa League qualifiers so far than it has been in the Premiership although they did lose their last Europa League match against Dnipro 1-0. Twente are a decent side though, they have won four of their five league games so far, and Fulham's form of three losses and a draw in their last four matches doesn't exactly suggest they are due to get something from this game, Twente are good value for the away win and should be backed to beat Fulham.

Recommendation: BACK FC TWENTE TO BEAT FULHAM
