Federer should breeze past Mathieu in US Open
Paul-Henri Mathieu may have knocked out Lleyton Hewitt in the opening round of the US Open but he is more a doubles player and a thumping defeat looks in store at the hands of Roger Federer when the pair clash this evening (19.00 GMT). Federer will be keen to get things over and done without a struggle and although odds of 1/33 are not appealing, Paddy Power are out on a limb though by offering 1/3 against a 3 sets to love victory and that is probably a shade too big.
