Many countries have made their Eurovision selections and betting has begun on the hugely popular song contest which this year is held in Germany.  The first movers in the market are Estonia, the small Baltic country has unveiled a big song for the contest and Eurovision fans have started to support it.

Paddy Power have already cut the odds to 15/2 after hearing Rockefeller Street by the 18 year old Getter Jaani , the song is written by veteran Eurovision songwriter Sven Lohmus who has written two  previous Eurovision songs  for Estonia. A catchy up tempo sing along tune with a memorable chorus Rockefeller Street looks tailor made for Eurovision.

Betting exchange Betfair have also seen money on Estonia and they are now quoted as third favourites behind hosts Germany who will be represented by last year’s winner Lena Meyer Landrut and the controversial nominee from Norway Stella Mwangi.

Estonia last won Eurovision in 2001 with the song Everybody sung by Tanel Padar with the boy band 2XL. In recent years after good performances in the 1990s Estonia has failed to trouble the leaderboard and in six of the last seven years did not even qualify for the Final.

This year’s entry looks assured to make the final and may very well if ante post punters are correct walk away with the trophy.

Recommendation: Estonia Look Good For Eurovision 2011
