Wales did England a huge favour on Friday night by beating Montenegro meaning England are now just four points away from guaranteed qualification for Euro 2012. Wales' win over Montenegro gives them extra confidence going into this game and proves Wales have a good team when everyone is available, Speed will now be eyeing qualification for the 2014 World Cup with youngsters Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey at the centre of his plans.
England could go with an unchanged side after their win in Sofia on Friday, definitely taking no part in the match are Leighton Baines, Darren Bent and Micah Richards who have all been sent back to their clubs for treatment after picking up injuries. Capello has decided against calling up any replacements which limits his options certainly at right back, with no recognised replacement if Chris Smalling picks up an injury. Andy Carroll looks likely to sit out once again with Fabio Capello critical of the Liverpool strikers fitness recently.
Wales will be without Craig Bellamy who is suspended for this match whilst David Vaughn is also unavailable but there is good news for Wales with Jack Collison back from a stomach bug and James Collins returning from suspension for this match. Sam Ricketts is still out recovering from achilles surgery whilst Neil Eardley misses out with broken fingers.
It is difficult to see past an England victory here despite the good result gained by Wales over Montenegro and the return of some key players following England's 2-0 win in Cardiff in March. England's victory might not be as easy as many think which is why there could be a bit of value in backing a 2-0 for England, the price is pretty generous considering many have been backing England to score plenty more goals past Wales.
Recommendation:
BACK ENGLAND TO BEAT WALES 2-0
