Caroline Wozniacki is certainly the shining star of the women’s game at present and she has reached yet another final, this time in the BNP Paribos Open at Indian Wells.

In her semi-final, Wozniacki might have expected a bit more of a challenge from Maria Sharapova, especially as the Russian broke serve on the very first game but in the end, the 6-1, 6-2 scoreline tells it’s own story as the young Dane was vastly superior.

“Definitely didn't expect such a score, but I'm very pleased about the way I played and the way I got my tactics to work,” said Wozniacki, last year’s runner-up. “I'm pleased about being in the finals. I think I had a very good return today. I got a lot of returns in, so I was pleased about that.  I think that was important today, both my serve and my returns, because I got a lot of first serves in, as well, which was important.”

The other finalist is Marion Bartoli from France, who is currently ranked 17th. Bartoli has beaten Wozniacki twice previously but given the Dane’s rise to prominence, she might well struggle to beat her for a third time on Sunday.

Wozniacki said of her opponent; “Marion is a player who is also trying to play very aggressively, taking the ball early.  She's not going to give me a lot of free points.”

Betting wise, it might pay to go for the 2-0 scoreline which is a best priced 8/13 with Bet365.

Recommendation: Caroline Wozniacki to win match 2-0 at 8/13 with Bet365
