Stanislas Wawrinka booked his place in the  Australian Open quarter-final  after totally outplaying eighth seed Andy Roddick on Sunday.

The 19th seed served up no less than 24 aces on court to wrap up 4th round match 6-3 6-4 6-4 victory and now an all Swiss clash with Roger Federer awaits.

Wawrinka certainly played better tennis than his 19th seeding indicated he should and if he plays the same against Federer, then we are in for a real treat. Wawrinka told the press;

"It was one of my best matches, for sure. To beat Roddick in three sets, it's really good for me. I'm very happy with all my game. I was playing great and I felt I put a lot of pressure on him. I think I am playing my best tennis ever, so for sure it's going to be different. Everybody knows that Roger is the best player ever at the moment, and we know that when he's playing his best tennis it's always tough to beat him. I will try to be focus on what I want to do."

Federer has not shown much weakness so far in this tournament and at odds of 1-4, he is almost a backable price to win this match. Given the performance of Wawrinka against Roddick, it may be unwise to lump on but I still have to conclude that the 1-4 about the Fed Express with Boylesports is the best option.

Recommendation: Federer to win match at 1-4 (1.25) Boylesports
